Chemical management

Lariotex has joined in particular the 4sustainability® commitment, implementation framework and registered trademark, which guarantees the sustainability performance of the fashion supply chain.
Adherence to the 4sustainability® roadmap involves:

  • Conversion to the use of lower impact materials for sustainable production;
  • Elimination of toxic and harmful chemicals from production cycles;
  • Traceability of processes and monitoring of the supply chain;
  • Development of reuse and recycling practices.

The adoption of the PRSL 4sustainability® protocol has also allowed Lariotex to sign up to the Chemical Management Protocol for the elimination of toxic and harmful substances in ZDHC ( Zero discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) production/Roadmap to Zero, obtaining the Foundational Certificate ZDHCLariotex adheres to ZDHC's MRSL (Manufacturing Restricted Substances List), which aims to eliminate toxic and harmful substances from the textile sector.

To strengthen the focus on sustainability issues, the chemical management policy is disseminated at all levels within the company, also through the establishment of an internal Chemical Management Team. In addition to training the staff, we are committed to raising awareness among customers and suppliers, involving relevant associations, communities, and public institutions as well.
